"lunula) can be caused by general malnutrition but also copper deficiency (89) "
Niestety, za bardzo nie ma jak dorwać się do reszty tekstu. W dokumencie, z którego niby jest ten fragment, nie ma takich słów w ogóle.
Wpis na reddicie nr 1:
"I have this issue too! My Homocysteine level was 1. 90% sure my methionine was super low as well. Basically undetectable.
Normal B12 in serum, extremely high folate in serum with a mild cellular folate deficiency. Low uric acid, low BUN, low protein in bloodwork pretty much always.
Confirmed COMT++, compound hetero MTHFR. Probable BHMT-08 (high serum glycine, sulfur foods give me ammonia breath sometimes)
In case it's of use to anyone else with similar bloodwork/genotype: I have a bunch of functional deficiencies per spectracell testing (including some big ones like copper, B3, B6, coQ10, manganese, vitamin A). Not totally sure as to the why, but apparently I have impaired metabolism of long-chain fatty acids.
Symptom set: Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and lots of neuro issues. Intolerant to lots of supplements, and methyl B vites make me crazy."

"I probably need to go through and update my old posts in this sub, since I've figured out a good bit since then. Pretty sure I have a B12 deficiency that was obscured by normal serum levels (I had been taking a multivitamin with B12 in it for months prior to testing that likely created a false normal in the bloodwork... pretty common with B12, it turns out).
Sublingual B12 (as opposed to oral) is restoring a LOT of tactile/sensory input, my hair is growing back, my vision is MARKEDLY better in like 8 different ways, my memory is improving, and my autonomic dysfunction and MCAS reactions are too. It's honestly kind of bananas... my lunula (half moons) are back on my first two fingers and the ridges on my fingernails are smoothing out! Bonkers!
Sublingual methylB12 isn't making me lose my mind like methylfolate did. I really think a lot of my crazy sensitivity to supplements was more a B12 deficiency at work than a methyl sensitivity... I have yet to find a form of folate that I can take for more than a few days without feeling anxiety. Been on high-dose sublingual methylcobalamin for 3 weeks now (with plenty of magnesium and potassium) and I'm more myself than I've been in ages. :/
Sort of worried that a lot of us with EDS neuro issues actually have copper/thiamine/B12 deficiency making us "symptomatically" hypermobile. Once I'm a little further down the path of recovery, I plan to talk with the many well-intentioned EDS providers I've become connected with and see if they can do some good with this information... but for right now, it's so new and so mind-blowing to me (after so many meds, so much imaging, so much money and time thrown at things that didn't work, an invasive neurosurgery that I might not have actually needed... the idea that the last 5 years might just have been B12 deficiency after so much fear/loss/grief... it's a lot to process) that it feels premature."
No i B12 pod język, w formie metylowanej, była odpowiedzią na jego problemy. Odrosły też obłączki.
Zastanawiam się, czy moja metylowana B12 wchłania się spod języka, czy może jest w formie, która tak nie działa.
